New to Yorkdale, CONCEPT is a space devoted to new thinking, designed as an ever-evolving showcase of new tastes, trends and technology. More than a pop-up store, it’s an entirely new retail experience where retailers featured within CONCEPT will change at regular intervals.
Located near the TTC entrance and across from NYX – the first retail rotation to debut in CONCEPT features local gems of Toronto’s food scene – make sure to stop by!

Caplansky’s Deli (Closing April 30) – This deli style shop specializes in smoked meat and other Jewish delicacies. Other than in their food truck, this Toronto staple has rarely wandered away from the city’s core.
Nadia’s Chocolates – Just in time for Easter, Nadia’s elaborate chocolate art make for a great gift or a little personal indulgence. They will be debuting 3-foot high chocolate Easter Garden sculptures at Yorkdale.
Uncle Tetsu – When this Japanese cheesecake shop opened its first shop outside of Asia in Toronto, the line-ups were endless. Shoppers at Yorkdale will have the opportunity to experience these delightfully fluffy cheesecakes.
Pie Squared – This eatery is built around the simplicity of U.K. style meat pies mixed in with clever new flavours all wrapped into a delicious pocket – easy for eating while strolling through Yorkdale.
Nugateau – Nugateau is Toronto’s first Éclair Only modern concept Pastry shop that offers variety of decadent Éclairs both in sweet and savoury flavours. All of the Éclairs are handcrafted, and regularly updated with seasonal influences as well as the freshest ingredients available.
Eva’s Original Chimney – These chimney cake cones, filled with soft-serve ice cream and homemade toppings are sure to satisfy many-a-sweet-tooth. There will be two Yorkdale exclusive cones: a Drip Cake Cone dripping with chocolate ganache; spread with peanut butter; layered with chopped roasted peanuts and salted caramel sauce; topped with more salted caramel sauce, peanut brittle, toffee shard, caramel popcorn, a cocoa-filled wafer roll and a chocolate peanut butter macaron and the Matcha Crunch Cone featuring matcha syrup made with ceremonial matcha and crunchy Matcha KitKat bits.
