Spring Floral

Spring Floral

Ladies, there isn’t a simpler way to say this.. florals back in a BIG way. It’s no surprise that as the seasons change and we embrace the warmer weather that the classic Spring uniform of floral patterns makes a comeback.  What makes this year different from the rest, is the use of oversized and over-embellished larger than life florals.

The motto of this season, when it comes to any pattern (especially floral), seems to be; go big or go home. When shopping for your new wardrobe additions, remember it’s going to be hard to overuse this trend in 2015. Keep an eye out for oversized, over pronounced prints that pop and don’t be afraid to use them!  We’ve seen the trend used on most of the runways in the past months and now we are spotting the trend all over the centre.

Additionally, in years past, floral has been deemed solely as a girly, young and flirty print. In 2015, we are seeing the use of florals paired with contrasting patterns, boyish textures and in all kinds of different ways. If done right floral can actually be a chic complement to an otherwise edgy look. We suggest pairing your new print with some leather touches, black and white stripes and even some metallics to let your look speak for itself.

As we mentioned,  a number of designers began introducing huge floral prints on to various pieces such as jumpsuits, shorts, headwear, swimwear and more during last month’s fashion weeks. If you’re ready to embrace the latest spring trend make sure you check out the following retailers to find what you’re looking for.
