Aesop was established in Melbourne in 1987. Their objective has always been to formulate products of the finest quality. This includes skin, body, and hair care, as well as fragrance and accessories for self and space. They explore widely to source plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients, using only those with a proven record of safety, efficacy and pleasure. Their products are available online, at Aesop signature stores in many major cities, department store counters, and in shared spaces around the world.

Aesop Yorkdale features a minimalist aluminum tile façade—taking inspiration from the geometric compositions of a certain brand of abstract expressionism. Inside, regionally sourced bird’s eye maple veneer is contrasted with the cool sheen of metallic and bathed in the soft, diffuse glow cast by a lightwell.
