Yorkdale’s Journey to the North Pole is back for the holiday season! Begin your experience at the launch pad, where you’ll receive your flight pass before boarding Santa’s spaceship. With 360-degree screens and surround sound, you’ll soar through a starry sky and arrive at Santa’s Control Station at the North Pole.
Meet Santa, share your wish list, and capture a cherished photo in a one-of-a-kind setting that brings holiday dreams to life. His unforgettable journey is perfect for families and holiday lovers of all ages.

We’re excited to make your Journey to the North Pole a truly magical and memorable experience.
This attraction includes lighting effects, surround sound, and other sensory elements some guests may be sensitive to. Guests have the option to forego the immersive experience and visit Santa only.

Where is the Journey to the North Pole Spaceship located?
Journey to the North Pole is located in between the Starbucks Kiosk (by the TTC) and Canada Goose. The closest parking lot is Parkade E, South Entrance. Taking the elevator to the ground floor and you will arrive at the Santa experience.

What can I expect during the experience?
You’ll board a festive spaceship with 360-degree screens and immersive sound, creating the sensation of traveling through space before landing in the North Pole, where you’ll meet and capture your photo Santa.

How many people can the experience accommodate?
Each journey can accommodate up to 5 people per flight, making it perfect for families and small groups.

How long is each appointment?
Each appointment is five (5) minutes. Please ensure you arrive on time to make the most of this magical experience.

What is the cost of the experience?
The price of Journey to the North Pole costs $57.49 per group (up to 5 people) and includes one 5”x7” keepsake photo with Santa.

Are additional photo packages available?
Yes! Additional photo packages, including a digital photo option, can be added to your booking. You can also add-on at the time of check-out.

Are pins available this year?
Yes! Pins are available for purchase at the completion of your appointment. Pins are very limited, and available while supplies last.

Can I purchase a pin if I do not have an appointment?
Yes! Please head over to the check-out and please to one of the members of the flight crew.

Is the experience suitable for young children?
Absolutely! The Journey to the North Pole is designed for children of all ages to enjoy an unforgettable holiday adventure.

Is the experience safe for pregnant guests or those prone to motion sickness?
Yes! This is not a motion simulator and involves no physical movement, making it safe and comfortable for all guests.

Is the experience suitable for children with autism or those sensitive to light and sound?
While the experience includes immersive screens and sound, we strive to make it welcoming for all. Families with sensory-sensitive children are encouraged to contact Yorkdale Guest Services to discuss accommodations.

Is the experience wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the wheelchairs can be accommodated.

Is it stroller friendly?
We kindly ask that you leave strollers outside of the spaceship and they can be picked up at the end of the experience when picking up photos.

Can I sell or transfer my tickets?
Tickets are non-transferrable. You must show identification at the time of check-in.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
Your reservation is non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, you can do so by following the information on your reservation confirmation email. Your appointment must be rescheduled prior to your scheduled reservation time. Rebooking is subject to availability.

Are walk-ins accommodated?
Appointments are by reservation only. From time to time, there are last-minute cancellations and no-shows. You are welcome to stop by the desk and speak to one of our flight crew.

Is there a waitlist?
No, we are unable to offer a waitlist at this time.

Will my child get to visit Santa and have their photo taken?
Yes! Your child will meet Santa and have their photo taken in his Control Station after travelling into outer space and landing in the North Pole.

Is the Pet and Family Photo Studio limited to those with pets only?
Not at all! The Holiday Photo Studio welcomes you whether you have a four-legged friend or not. Many families photos are captured here without pets.

I do not have a pet and have booked an appointment. Will I encounter a pet when I arrive?
The Holiday Photo Studio is a pet-friendly space and it is possible that you may encounter someone with pets before or after your appointment.
