Yorkdale Shopping Centre's Code of Conduct
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for you, your family, and friends, centre-management asks that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies.
Smoking:
Yorkdale shopping centre is pleased to offer a smoke-free establishment with all government legislation.
Loitering:
Loitering or congregating in large groups is prohibited.
Disruptive Behaviour:
Running, skateboarding, roller blading, littering, profane language, mischief, vandalism, and the unsafe use of elevators and escalators is prohibited. Any act that violates municipal, provincial, or federal laws or regulations is prohibited.
Audio and Video Equipment:
Personal entertainment and electronic devices may only be operated at accepted locations and volume levels. Photo and/or video devices may only be used with prior approval from centre management.
Distributing Literature/Soliciting:
Distributing printed materials and/or soliciting of any kind is strictly prohibited. Preapproved exceptions may apply.
Eating and Rest Areas:
Please refrain from abusive or prolonged use of food court tables and shopping centre seating.
Appropriate Attire:
Attire that may be considered objectionable, constitutes a disguise, hoods, and/or is intended to conceal identity is not permitted.
Personal Mobility Devices:
Motorized wheelchairs or medical scooters must be operated at low speeds to ensure the safety of all visitors.

No Pets. We appreciate all animals, however, pets other than documented service animals and emotional support animals, are not permitted within the shopping centre.
Caution! Floors are slippery when wet.
Think Safety. No bicycles, rollerblades or skateboards.
