Starbucks is warming hearts and serving extra cheer this holiday season with the debut of their first Holiday Tree at Yorkdale. Inspired by the belief that we are all merrier when we’re together – whether that’s spending time shopping, dining or grabbing a coffee at your local Starbucks with your favourite people – the 30-foot tree features over 600 ornaments, including glimmering stars with messages designed to spark joy and inspire togetherness.
To inspire an additional magical moment of connection and togetherness for the holidays, two guests will have the opportunity to bring magic to the Starbucks Holiday Tree, through a light show, everyday at 12 PM, starting November 13 until December 24.

A Note to Our Guests
We’re excited to make your Journey to the North Pole a truly magical and memorable experience! This attraction includes lighting effects, surround sound, and other sensory elements some guests may be sensitive to. Guests have the option to forego the immersive experience and visit Santa only.

Do I Receive a Journey to the North Pole Pin?
We had a limited number of pins and were offered to the first 250 guests who came to experience JTNP. At this time we do not have any more to giveaway. We will work to have more pins for next year and appreciate your feedback.

Can I sell or transfer my tickets?
At this time, the resale or transfer of tickets is not officially permitted. However, if you do choose to sell or transfer your tickets, you will be required to provide proof of transfer and settle any applicable fees immediately on-site. Please note that Yorkdale Shopping Centre is not responsible for ticket transfers, private sales, or any related transactions conducted outside of our official channels.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
Your reservation is non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, you can do so by following the information on your reservation confirmation email. Your appointment must be rescheduled prior to your scheduled reservation time. Rebooking is subject to availability.

From time to time, there are last-minute cancellations and no-shows. So, we can’t guarantee that there will be an opening.

Your appointment with Santa has a duration of 5 minutes. Please ensure you arrive on time to make the most of this magical moment. How many people can the experience accommodate?
Each journey can accommodate up to 5 people per flight, making it perfect for families and small groups.

What can I expect during the experience?
You’ll board a festive spaceship with 360-degree screens and immersive sound, creating the sensation of traveling through space to the North Pole, where you’ll meet Santa.

What is the cost of the experience?
The package price is $49.99 per group (up to 5 people) and includes one 5”x7” keepsake photo with Santa.

Are additional photo packages available?
Yes! Additional photo packages, including a digital photo option, can be added to your booking. You can also add-on at the time of check-out.

Will my child get to visit Santa and have their photo taken?
Yes! Your child will meet Santa and have their photo taken in his Control Station, where he plans his journey to families’ homes around the world.

Is the experience suitable for children with autism or those sensitive to light and sound?
While the experience includes immersive screens and sound, we strive to make it welcoming for all. Families with sensory-sensitive children are encouraged to contact Yorkdale Guest Services to discuss accommodations.

Where will the photo be taken?
Your keepsake photo will be captured in Santa's control room which is festively decorated in rich red, gold and green tones, providing a magical backdrop for your perfect holiday photo.

Is the experience safe for pregnant guests or those prone to motion sickness?
Yes! This is not a motion simulator and involves no physical movement, making it safe and comfortable for all guests.

Absolutely! The Journey to the North Pole is designed for children of all ages to enjoy an unforgettable holiday adventure.

Yes, the wheelchairs can be accommodated.

Is it stroller friendly?
We kindly ask that you leave strollers outside of the spaceship and they can be picked up at the end of the experience when picking up photos.
